Money-Saving Tip

So, we're trying to think ahead, trying to save money with gas being so high and all, we figure we can save quite a bit by not using a babysitter we would have to pay to watch Hudson. The next best option has to be someone we trust, who's very close to us and knows us and how we want him to be treated. Who better than Oliver. We've started the training early, just the basics right now, changing diapers is next. - j & c

7/29/08 - Today, we are going home. Our unexpected July visit to St. Joseph Medical Center has come to an end. We are looking forward to being home with our new baby boy.

Hudson Eliott Humphrey

It is hard for me to keep my eyes on the screen; its competition is our little tiny baby boy, whom I am holding in my left arm. Charity is finally getting some sleep, so the room is nice and dark and quiet. I am unsure of how drastically my life has changed in the past 36hours, but sure that it will never be the same. We have decided on a name, Hudson Eliott Humphrey. He is completely healthy, sleeping peacefully, and lets us know when he's ready to eat. He's the coolest thing ever. -john

Welcome to the world!

7/27/08 - This Sunday morning, our sweet baby boy came into the world. His time of arrival was 10:57 am, measuring 19 inches and weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. He is an absolutely beautiful creation, as you can see! This is Baby Humphrey, a new name will follow shortly. j & c
